While Bush was getting heckled during a 4th of July speech at Monticello:

"US President George W. Bush has been heckled by a number of audience members while making an address on Independence Day.
The July 4th celebrations are usually a jovial time, however some audience members at the home of Thomas Jefferson began to heckle Mr Bush.
Although the President did not respond, the protesters were quickly moved away by Mr Bush's secret service.
One protester yelled "War Criminal" repeatedly during the protest, while another said that Mr Bush "has brought fascism to this shore."

Our own Governor was getting pie-eyed in Montpelier:

"Gov. James Douglas was hit in the face with a cream pie as he marched in the Montpelier Independence Day parade Thursday evening.
The pie was thrown as Douglas, who is running for re-election this year, was walking in front of the Capitol Plaza Hotel on State Street.
The alleged pie-thrower, Matthew Manning, 22, of Northfield, was charged with simple assault, according to the Montpelier Police Department. Manning was dressed Thursday night in a Santa Claus suit."
