It was cool to see them all there!

Unfortunately the President was distracted for much of the time they were going by, but they got a smile and a big wave before they had all departed.

This was surely a memorable weekend for all of our community members.

See them at the ticker tape parade when they get back!

Wondering if anyone captured this on video?
I was unable to watch the parade...

the ABC coverage of parade actually mentioned the indictment of Bush and Cheney by the town of Brattleboro, while the band was on screen playing We Shall Overcome.

Initially Obama was paying attention. He was searching for the one nude male and one nude female that he expected (don't think for a minute that he didn't spend weeks chortling over our nudism controversy a couple years ago). Upon not finding any his disappointment was so great he couldn't watch any more and turned away. Let's hope this isn't the last time the band will be invited out. We finally do get the whole world to watch and we blow it supremely. Sure, it's winter...but you know a whole herd of fat old men go swimming in the ocean in Brooklyn every New Years Day and we, real Vermonters, can't walk naked for the five minutes we get in front of a camera? I was so proud of the way we handled the nudity issue, with such wit, sophistication and panache and now I just want to crawl in a hole. What the hell is up with that, Fish?

Great photos! And unlike Spoon, I think it's best the clothes are on considering the occasion.
