First, there can be not more than one church per town called
"St Michael's"
or named after the same saint. In general this is too confusing, and easily avoided.
In the case where two churches in the same town are named after the same saint, the first church to be so named shall retain the name, and the other church will be renamed.
If this ordinance passes, which church will have to be renamed? Does any local history buff know?
Second :
There will not be two music venues in the same county named "The Stone Church"
Last night for example I attended the Hadranger Fiddle music concert at the Stone Church in BRATTLEBORO.
Until the day of the concert, I thought that it was at "The Stone Church" in BELLOW's FALLS, where they also have musical offerings.
Something must be done.
