Former Vermont Governor, presidential candidate, and head of the Democratic National Committee, Howard Dean, is going to become a regular contributor to the financial network CNBC, according to Sam Stein at the Huffington Post.

He says this was in the works for a while and quotes an insider as saying "This was in the works long before the Jon Stewart stuff."

Dean worked on Wall Street for a while after college.
