The Brattleboro Lister's Department has issued a reminder to members of the business community that Business Personal Property Tax Forms are due in the Lister's Office by April 20th. This year's Form, along with instructions, were mailed out in early March. Any business which has misplaced their Form should contact the Lister's Office in order to get a replacement or go on the Town website where the Form is available on the Lister's page.

The Department also wishes to make clear that the recent $5,000 exemption for Business Personal Property, enacted by the Town Representatives does not take effect until next year.

Businesses are also reminded that State Statutes provide for a fine for those who file late or not at all.
