SALVATION FARMS GLEANING NETWORK
If you’re looking to get more involved and have a positive impact on your community, the Vermont Foodbank’s Salvation Farms Brattleboro area gleaning group may be a great opportunity for you!
The Salvation Farms program gathers together groups of community volunteers to harvest crops from a variety of local participating farms, a process known as gleaning, for distribution to sites that serve food-insecure Vermonters. We are currently looking for community members who are interested in volunteering during the upcoming growing season. Volunteer options range from in-field and farmers market gleaning to delivering produce and a variety of administrative tasks.
