The Brattleboro Outing Club is teaming up this summer with the United States Tennis Association to offer a fun program to introduce the game of tennis to children by utilizing equipment, court dimensions and scoring tailored to their age and size.

The QuickStart program is similar to models successfully used in other sports, such as youth baseball. QuickStart is broken down into two age groupings, 5 – 7 and 8 – 10. Monthly sessions will consist of 4 classes to be held on consecutive Saturday mornings from June thru September at the BOC outdoor courts located at 202 Cedar Street in Brattleboro.

There will be a free introductory class held at the BOC on Saturday, May 30th at 9 am for ages 5-7 and 10 am for ages 8 – 10.
