Through The Music Gallery & Studio is located inside Turn It Up! at 2 Elliot Street Downtown Brattleboro. Just go through the music up the stairs and we are on the right. For the month of June we’ll be featuring Ellen Graham, and Barbara Milot.

Ellen Graham creates fantastical creatures and things in mixed-media sculpture. Ever since she was a small child she dreamed of making stuff out of things. Today that dream is reality. She lives in a temple to mod podge in Brattleboro VT with her husband, Christian and their silly, silly dog.
Barbara Milot works mostly with acrylic on paper creating ambiguous maps in bright colors. Although she works from actual maps, she leaves out references to specific places to make the images more universal and to allow viewers to incorporate their own references. As in real maps, three-dimensional space is distilled to a configuration of lines and shapes that make the design of the environment and paths in space more apparent. But where real maps are meant to communicate information clearly and efficiently, hers create ambiguity and multiple interpretations.
You can still see some of the work from our May show featuring Alec McPherson, Zach Noel, and Emily Tate.
Our opening will be held during the Gallery Walk on June 5th from 5:30 pm - 9:30 pm. If you can’t make it during the Gallery Walk, we are open throughout the month. Ellen Graham, and Barbara Milot will be showing at TTM from June 5th through the 24th.
