 The ArtsA casting call is out for roles in a production of Thornton Wilder’s Our Town to be directed by Putney's Larry Bramble, with performances October 23, 24, 25 and November 6, 7, 8 at Main Street Arts in Saxtons River.
Needed: 15 men, 7 women. teens and children ages 9+.
Audition Dates:
Sunday, August 16 at 7:30 PM
Tuesday, August 18 at 7:30 PM
Call and sign-up for an evening at MSA. Contact MSA if conflicts with auditions to schedule an appointment.
People should plan on arriving at 7:30 PM, reading from the script (actors can feel free to prepare for a specific part), and plan on being at MSA for 1 – 1 ˝ hours.
Rehearsals:
Aug. 24 & 27 (7:30 PM) – Read-throughs
Staging rehearsals to begin in earnest the week of August 30. Schedule TBA.
Principles should plan on rehearsing 3 – 4 nights a week. Small roles will have fewer evenings.
Performances:
Week 1 - Oct. 23 & 24 at 7:30 PM, Oct. 25 at 3 PM
Week 2 (not consecutive) – Nov. 6 & 7 at 7:30 PM, Nov. 8 at 3 PM
