Remembering Edward Softky

Reading the Free Press this evening; I saw an article about Jean Mahoney; the woman who struck and killed Edward Softky, and then kept driving.
As of today, she's serving a sentence of 3 and 1/2 years for the conviction of child cruelty, reckless endangerment and drunk driving with death resulting.
Total sentence of 7-15 years was suspended down to the 3.5 to serve and she will be on probation for some undetermined amount of time after her release, if she survives prison. Jean Mahoney is now 65.
