Getting out on the ice of the Retreat Meadows has been fun in past
    years.

It was melted and broken up yesterday - not sure if it will be re-frozen in
time this year. Might be good for kayakers!

Look into "Last Night" activities.. the only one I've heard about so far is
the Amidons at the Baptist Church -- local folk musicians, beautiful
setting, and the Baptist Church also has an overflow shelter for the
homeless, so I hope they get the usual full house, up the topmost
balconies, and some gelt for their good works.
So, the Chamber of Commerce should have a list of "Last Night" events,
maybe? Anyone else know what's going on or how to find out?

(Chamber and BaBB just have Decemberfest calendars.)

If you have New Year's events, add them to the calendar here. People
    are asking!
