My goal is to improve my health by giving up all refined sugar... but I can't do it alone!! How about you?

I'd like to start a support group in Brattleboro, for those of us who believe in the importance/benefits of avoiding refined sugar and need help doing it.

Discussion topics could include:
- Best methods for giving up sugar/Tips & Tricks
- What to eat instead of sugar/recipe sharing

- How to maintain a social life, when so many social gatherings/events involve sugar
- Encouraging local coffee shops to offer more sugar-free treats
- Health benefits we feel when we don't eat sugar
- Cheering each other on
- Etc!

Let me know if you're interested in being a part of this!

What day & time is best for you to meet, and how frequently? (Weekly, monthly?) And where should we meet?? My first thought is one of the coffee/tea shops downtown - Amy's, Mocha Joe's, Cafe Lotus, Coffee Country, Tea Lounge - but they are, of course, all full of sugar. Would that be as counterproductive as holding an AA meeting in a bar?!
