PLEASE NOTE THE OFFICES ARE CLOSED FEBRUARY 15, 2010, TAXES ARE DUE ON FEBRUARY 16, 2010

The third installment of the 2009 Real Estate and Personal Property taxes will be due on or before February 16th, 2010. Payments made after February 16th will be assessed a 1% interest fee.

The water/sewer billing is also due on February 16th, 2010. Payments made after February 16th, 2010 will have an additional 1% interest, as well as an 8% penalty added to the unpaid balance.

Taxpayers may mail in the payments to the Treasurer, Town of Brattleboro, 230 Main Street, Suite 111, Brattleboro. Please include our portions of your bill to insure proper credit. Also, you may choose to make your payments via a credit card on the internet or with a special phone number, 1 800-2PAY-TAX, or website www.officialpayments.com .

We CANNOT accept credit card payments at the office, they must be done via the 800 phone number or internet.

If you choose to pay in person the Treasurer’s Office hours are Monday thru Friday, 8:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. in Room 111 of the Municipal Building. .
