Hello - I'd like to encourage everyone to head to Burrito Rojo in Turners Falls tonight to enjoy some great music and support an exciting new project of Community Brick House.

The concert features Peter Tork (of Monkeys fame), Cliff Eberhardt, Ray Mason, and "local rising stars" Katie Sachs, DeAngelo Nieves and Brooke Brown Saracino. You can get the full scoop on the Brick House's website (click on press release on top right):

I'm personally very interested in the nonprofit's new Power Town Music initiative. Here's what the concert promo material says about that:

"PowerTown Music is a collaboration between The Brick House and local musicians with a mission of providing full service Musician Production & Management, with a focus on the growth of the artists served and the workforce that supports them by employing, empowering, and mentoring our young people that have interests and skills in making music and a goal of working in the music industry."

Finally, here's the specifics for tonight's show that begins at 7 p.m.:

"Burrito Rojo is located at 50 3rd St. in Turners Falls, the show will be priced on a sliding scale of $10 - $25 and is an all ages event."
