Try Craigslist. They have an a variety of listings, including shared housing. Use the dropdown menu on top to select your town and the type of housing you are looking for. Try several categories for best results.
I am responsible for renting seasonal rooms in northern Windham County and have reasonable success with Craigslist. There is a small amount of fraud, but for the most part that is pretty obvious. I find it to be a better source of tenants than local bulletin boards or other sources.
