NEW, GROUND-BREAKING NUCLEAR TECHNOLOGY TO BE UNVEILED
On Friday, June 4th at 6:00 pm. on Main Street in Brattleboro, as part of the town’s monthly Gallery Walk event, Nuclear Corporations Political Action Committee (NuCorPAC ), in partnership with the Safe & Green Campaign, a citizens environmental group, will be presenting its latest energy generation proposal, the “Amazing Green Dream Machine.” At this ground-breaking event, NuCorPAC spokesperson Will Newcomb will provide a full demonstration of this revolutionary new technology.
With the pending closure of Vermont Yankee by or before March of 2012, many residents of the area are concerned about their future power supply. NuCorPAC and the Safe & Green Campaign are confident that the “Amazing Green Dream Machine” can eliminate those concerns. This is the first time NuCorPAC and Safe & Green have joined forces to try to address the daunting challenges inherent in trying to make nuclear power a safe, sustainable energy source.
“We look forward to the opportunity to show that we in the nuclear industry can be team players,” said Mr. Newcomb, who has engaged a full musical accompaniment for his cutting-edge presentation. “With the unveiling of this wonderful new technology, NuCorPAC will demonstrate how we can turn lemons into lemonade by recycling high level nuclear waste now stored on-site at Vermont Yankee and reusing it to meet Brattleboro’s energy needs.”
“At first we were quite skeptical of NuCorPac’s proposal,” said Safe & Green’s Bob Bady, “but after learning the details, we’re very excited about its potential.”
