Meeting officially started at 5:30pm
Discussed CPCC's mission to facilitate communication between the public and the police. Strategized on how to strengthen our advocacy for community members who feel that they are targeted by the police. Talked about the next step of our work being a public outreach strategy through the local media to make the Brattleboro community aware of the existance of the CPCC and our goal of assisting community members who wish to file a complaint against the Brattleboro Police Department.
Next meeting will be at 5:00pm on Thursday, September 2nd at the Riverview Cafe (36 Bridge Street, Brattleboro).
