Everyone knows the Internet can be a powerful tool for growing and marketing a small business, but many don’t know where to begin or how to make it work for them.
Hours are wasted ‘trying to figure things out’, and valuable business is lost by missing out on the rich marketing opportunities the Internet offers to small and local businesses.
Brattleboro residents Lisa McCormick and Julian McBrowne, two local artists who actively use the Internet as their primary marketing tool, announce their new consulting service, Growing Your Business Online.
With a focus on small, local businesses, McCormick and McBrowne offer training and consulting for artists, shop owners, restauranteurs, and service providers on how they can boost their visibility and grow their business using web-based tools.
Group seminars, as well as individual consulting, are available.
“Our first training seminar is called The Zen of Facebook: How and Why You Should Promote Your Business via Facebook,” McBrowne says. “With Internet marketing opportunities taking such a wide variety of forms (Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, Websites, Blogs, etc.), it's easy to become overwhelmed, confused, and discouraged. Interestingly, Facebook combines the benefits of many of the multitudes of Internet marketing opportunities, in one manageable do-it-yourself space.”
“In the Zen of Facebook seminar, we teach small business owners practical and powerful ways they can use this free tool to build their customer-base and grow their business. It works”, McBrowne says.
The next Zen of Facebook seminar takes place on Tuesday, September 14, from 7-9 p.m.
The location is the Center for Digital Art, at Cotton Mill Hill in Brattleboro, VT. $30 per person, $50 per couple. Note: a 'couple' is any 2 people who'd like to attend together.
