    UFO over Downtown Brattleboro?!

    Sci-Tech

I wasn't sure whether "sci-tech" or "spiritual" was the best category for this...but here goes. Last night we saw what we believe to be a UFO hovering over downtown Brattleboro. It seemed to be on a surveillance mission of some sort, so possibly it was the work of the CIA rather than aliens. Did anyone else see it???

I am posting a couple of the photos here, and you can find more at our flickr account. Unfortunately, the photos are very grainy because my phone was the only device I happened to have with me when I happened to see the UFO. Maybe someone else saw it too and got better photos!

It seems to be near the landing pad at the Transportation
Center. Maybe it was looking for a spot to park.

Yes, and it gave up in disgust.

    Entrepreneurship! That’s it! Entrepreneurship!
Somebody's effort to capitalize on the
Anti-pedestrian, pro-petroleum consumption culture in Brattleboro! Smart dude/dudette!

Wow Paula, I happened to be in down town Brattleboro last night, and I happened to have my camera. I was standing behind my friend Bethanie, Yeakle, and this is photo I took of what we saw. You can make out the bright lighted object that we saw, it is near the center of the photo. As you can see, it is hovering above Eliot Street. It was moving silently. It was probably making one of those awful droning noises.
No wonder it had to come all the way to Brattleboro to park.
Did it have any Iranian markings? I heard they now have
    drones as good as ours.

    Next Year
    Authored by: Rolf on Sunday, January 08 2012 @ 07:15 AM GMT+5

    Next year we will make the following improvements;

    1) Leave more line between the balloons and the lights

    2) Have more than one UFAUX in the sky

    3) Have better cameras with better lenses for low light shots

    4) Use photo shop, like any serious ufaux-ologist.

We of course invite anyone with a better design to join us.

It would be great if this eventually turned into a "Floating of the Saucers" festival, to compliment the "Strolling of the Heifers".
