Brattleboro Memorial Hospital today announced Aida Avdic, MD has been hired as part of its Hospitalist staff. In this role, Dr. Avdic sees patients admitted to the hospital with acute medical conditions. She joins Amy Gadowski, MD, Christopher Meyer, MD, John Silkensen, MD, David Albright, MD and Carolyn Taylor-Olson, MD as part of the BMH Hospitalist Service.
Dr. Avdic is an honors graduate of the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. For the past three years, she has served as a Hospitalist and instructor of clinical medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
