The Atomic Energy Organization of Iran has made two nuclear announcements today !!
1) They have placed the first indigenous fuel rods into a Research Reactor.
2) They say they will start producing new yellow cake next year. Yellowcake is milled uranium oxide..

Yellowcake is used in the preparation of uranium fuel for nuclear reactors, for which it is smelted into purified UO2 for use in fuel rods for pressurized heavy-water reactors and other systems that use natural unenriched uranium...Yellowcake is produced by all countries in which uranium ore is mined.
