The Brattleboro Memorial Hospital Diagnostic Imaging Department invites the public to an open house, showcasing its new MRI and CT technology, on Wednesday, February 6 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM.
BMH has recently relocated its MRI equipment to the ground floor of the Richards Building. In addition to updated technology that is quieter, faster and provides significantly higher quality images, the new MRI suite provides a more relaxing and comfortable environment. The CT has been upgraded from a 16-slice unit to 64-slices, allowing for faster imaging and improved diagnostics. It also utilizes radiation reduction software that makes CT imaging safer for patients.
Marcy Rushford, CRA, the director of the Radiology & Cardiology Units at BMH, will be joined by Certified Technologists Emma Jones-Higley, RT(R,CT) and Virginia Miller RT(MR), Chief Radiologist Dr. Edward Elliott, MD, and Toshiba Vice President Jeffrey Kloss, to discuss each of the new technologies and present findings from studies showing how they benefit patient care.
With the main entrance of BMH under construction, the open house will begin in the Richards Building. Brattleboro Memorial Hospital is located at 17 Belmont Avenue in Brattleboro. For more information, contact Marcy Rushford at 802-257-8217 or email@example.com.
