Come and learn how The Beloved Community, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s prescription for a healthy society, can guide and inspire us. Gena Corea, one of our area's wisest hearts and sharpest minds, will talk about a powerful practice of gathering at The Table conducted by inmates in a Massachusetts prison, that provides one model of transformation into a beloved community. How? Come hear. All are welcome.
Gena Corea, a Certifying Coordinator of The International Focusing Institute, teaches body-based listening and focusing. Author of The Mother Machine (HarperCollins), she is completing a book on her 14-year work with prisoners.
