Brown Bag Lunch at the River Garden: Beloved Community at a Sufi Table

Dr. Martin Luther King's "creation of the
Beloved Community" is a goal most relevant today. Gena Corea will talk
about "A Thanksgiving Table," an activity inspired by the work of a
Sufi Muslim and conducted annually by inmates in a state prison, as an example
of "the beloved community” that can serve us in these challenging times.
All are welcome.  Gena teaches body-based
Focusing. She is writing a book, “Sacred Jailbreak,” on her 14-year experience
facilitating workshops for prison inmates.
