Brattleboro Time Trade Potluck Social

Date & Time:
Jul 20 2017 - 5:30pm - 7:30pm

BTT's JULY Potluck Social
@Living Memorial Park
Thursday, July 20th

Where: Living Memorial Park, West Brattleboro, lower level, by the playground and the (fenced) frog pond.

In case of RAIN, we'll move the potluck to: The Root Social Justice Center, 28 Williams St, near bottom of Union Street hill, and corner of Elliot St.

Members and prospective members are welcome.

Please bring a dish to share if you can, and self-log a Time Trade hour or two for each main dish you bring. Potlucks are often quick facilitators of great trade connections, so bring an offer or request to share, too!

It's also really helpful to bring a list of ingredients in your dish to alert people with allergies, restrictions, or food preferences. (Pen & paper will be available for this purpose at the potluck.)

Directions to Living Memorial Park:
From Interstate 91, Exit 2, go west on Rt 9/Western Ave about 1/4 mile. Turn left onto Guilford St, just after the Green Mt. Chapel, and just before the covered bridge. Cross the (uncovered) bridge, turn left at stop sign, and a stone's throw further the Park (and parking) is on the right.

Accessible parking, in that lot, is the closest spot to the building and to the sidewalk that goes in front of it.

To the potluck in park: Take the sidewalk around the front of the building and back to the small gazebo at the back of the playground.

Further accessibility info: The wheelchair accessible bathroom is at the front of the building, quite close to the parking lot. The sidewalk doesn't go quite all the way back to where we'll be eating; the short distance after it ends is cut grass on somewhat uneven ground. Please let us, your Potluck Committee, know (ahead, or when you get there) if you need any assistance.

Children are always welcome at Time Trade Potlucks. The summer locations are the most fun for them, especially Memorial Park.

If you have a chair you can bring, please do. Carpooling is always encouraged, and there is plenty of space for parking. If the weather is rainy/cool, bring a warm layer! To carpool, you may want to post a BTT request for carpooling on our site!

Upcoming Outdoor Potlucks:
August 23rd - Tamara Stenn's Home
September 14th - Deborah & Kip Tewksbury's Home

Upcoming Indoor Potlucks:
October 17th - Brattleboro Museum & Arts Center

The Potluck Committee meets the third Monday of the month at 12:45pm at the office. BTT members are always invited. Folks interested in joining the potluck committee are very welcome!

For questions or comments, contact the potluck committee at potluck@brattleborotimetrade.org or (802) 246-1199.
