BrattleMasters Tenth Anniversary Celebration - All Welcome

Date & Time:
Oct 26 2017 - 5:30pm - 7:30pm

BrattleMasters, the local Toastmasters club, will hold its Tenth Anniversary Celebration on Thursday, Oct. 26, from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. at the Marlboro College Graduate Center, 28 Vernon Street in Brattleboro.

For those unfamiliar with Toastmasters, it is an organization that is known for improving communication skills through public speaking. In addition, Toastmasters is about leadership skills, running effective meetings, enhancing communication with others, and learning how to think on one’s feet, all in a safe, fun and nurturing environment.

Rebecca Balint, Vermont State Senator for Windham County will deliver a speech at the celebration and will receive the Toastmasters Communication Achievement Award.

Attendees will have a chance to meet local Toastmasters and to participate in a “speaking off the cuff” activity.

The public is encouraged to visit Toastmasters meetings for free as many times as they like before joining. Regular meetings are held at 6 p.m. on the second and fourth Thursdays of every month at the Marlboro College Graduate Center, next to the Art Museum in downtown Brattleboro.
