HCRS' 50th Anniversary Me2/Orchestra Community Concert

Date & Time:
Oct 21 2017 - 7:00pm - 9:00pm

As part of its 50th anniversary celebration, HCRS will be hosting the Me2/Orchestra in a community concert on Saturday, October 21, at 7:00 pm with the goal of helping to destigmatize mental health services. Me2/ is the world's only classical music organization created for individuals living with mental illness as well as the people who support them.

Advance tickets are just $10 and can be purchased at www.hcrsme2.eventbrite.com. Tickets at the door will be $15.

The mission of Me2/Orchestra is to erase the stigma surrounding mental illness through supportive classical music ensembles and inspiring performances. The Me2/Orchestra consists of musicians living with mental illness and people who support them. Nearly 50% of the orchestra's members have a diagnosis such as depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, addiction, borderline personality disorder, or post-traumatic stress disorder. Other musicians may not have a diagnosis themselves, but they join Me2/ to use their musical skills to further this vital social mission.

HCRS is a non-profit, community mental health agency serving individuals and families in Windham and Windsor counties.
