Sep 30 2017 - 10:00am - 12:00pm

Saturday, September 30 from 10 – noon at Retreat Farm (Route 30 Brattleboro)
Cost: $15 adult/$5 child (age 2 – 13) Pre-registration required, space is limited.

Do you want to help our native bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds? Plant them a garden of native flowers! Landscape designer Tom Sullivan will lead this kid-friendly family workshop. While the kids make seed balls, paint signs, and play pollination-themed games, adults will learn the essentials of creating an attractive garden that native pollinators will love.

The workshop will culminate in a garden party at the Retreat Farm’s new
Children’s Farm and Forest! Tom will help the group design and plant a new pollinator garden, and we will celebrate with refreshments. All participants will receive a species list, starter seed package for their home garden, and a
complimentary day pass to the Children’s Farm and Forest.

All children must be accompanied by an adult.
