| YMCA Camp Still Has Openings |
|

Its leaders are reaching out to parents with four “family-centered” qualities of the regional YMCA’s camp. “While there are many benefits to parents and kids, as it relates to parents, we like to stress four themes,” says Meeting Waters YMCA Senior Program Director and Lewis Day Camp Director, Susan Fortier.

Second, our camp schedule is based on most parents’ working schedules. Third, we offer bus service from nine Vermont and New Hampshire communities. And, fourth, our rates are very competitive but we have several forms of financial assistance for those who still can not afford our fees.”

KEENE, N.H., 05/05/10 – Your first through ninth grader has fun while learning in any of the 39 different sessions Kids on Campus offers this summer. Babysitting training taught by Red Cross personnel, becoming a naturalist, building a model of a dream house, learning French, creating a rock band, making puppets, exploring space and imagining alien life, making different musical instruments from recycled materials with instructor Purly Gates, and taking an imaginary African safari are among classes offered.
Sessions are taught by teachers from local schools, Keene State College faculty, and other experts.
