Beloved, Anxious Cat Goes Missing in West B.  View Printable Version
    Friday, August 20 2010 @ 07:41 AM GMT+4
    Contributed by: pjmelton

PetsOur beloved 12-year-old black-and-white cat has been missing for two days.

She is an indoor cat, but occasionally she would slip out the back door when we left it open. She rarely wandered off the deck on these occasions, for fear we might close the door before she could come back in.

Apparently, two days ago, we did just that.

Dogs Locked in Cars  View Printable Version
    Saturday, June 05 2010 @ 12:46 AM GMT+4
    Contributed by: Zippy

PetsPlease, if anyone sees a dog locked in a car without water, ALWAYS CALL 911 if you don't have any idea how long the dog has been unattended.

It does not need to be hot outside (see below). Do not wait for someone else to do it. We would not wait if it was a child in the car and dogs are just as dependent on us to act on their behalf.

Please pass this on. I have had to call Brattelboro Police or Animal Control at least three times in the past to report dogs locked in cars on hot days on Main Street and Western Ave. (no less), including a puppy last summer.

    PetsHello all,
My name is PC, short for prince charming. I am a 7 year old neutered orange tabby that is friendly and very low maintenance. I love spending time outdoors and am great at catching mouses and garden snakes. I live with a golden retriever and we get along well. I love being held and petted by humans. Please don’t make me go to the Humane Society. You will love me and vice versa :-)

Just For Fun - Casey the Boxer-Terrier  View Printable Version
    Monday, April 19 2010 @ 10:57 AM GMT+4
    Contributed by: David Cadran

PetsThis story might be kind of "corny" but I woke up today and decided that there are not enough stories in the news about good stuff in life or that let you have a breather from all the other drama in the news. So today I am writing about my dog Casey.

Casey Elizabeth-Carlson Cadran just turned 9 years old and is a beautiful boxer-terrier mix. I got her from a friend in middle school named Elizabeth who was dating a guy with the last name Carlson. And so explains her rediculously long name.
