This Week in Brattleboro History - BHS Podcast

Comments | 1

It appears that the Sokoki sub-tribe of the Abenaki are the topic of this week's history podcast, created by Joe Rivers and the students of Brattleboro Area Middle School. The Sokoki (formerly spelled Squakeag) were the people who lived here in the Brattleboro area before the English settlers arrived. Lots of interesting details in this podcast for those interested in Native American history with a local slant.
