An invitation will be extended to the citizens of Brattleboro to assist the Young Men’s Republican club in preparing for the coming of President Roosevelt, Aug. 30, by appointing a committee of citizens to act in conjunction with the club’s committee of arrangements. The president’s visit will have no political aspect whatever and the plans for his entertainment will not be characterized in any degree by partisanship of factional feeling.
