The Rays’ “A Hot Old Time” at the Auditorium last Friday evening was not sufficiently tepid to warm the hearts of more than a few of the large audience which greeted it, and many went away with a rather “frosty” feeling towards the performance. The play opens very hopefully but there is too much of a sameness throughout to keep the interest above the congealing point.
