Short Distance Telephone Invented

George H. Niles of this town has invented a new telephone for short distance use, for which a patent is now pending. The new instrument is the result of several years’ experience in practical telephony, and is claimed to surpass all instruments now in the field in simplicity, clearness of tone and cheapness.
