Special Daytime Fireworks For Valley Fair

Event date: Sep 15, 1893

Col. Hooker has arranged for a striking novelty for both days of the Valley Fair. This is a Japanese day fireworks display. Two dozen figures will be discharged at each performance, at 11 and 3 each day. The roosters, ducks, Japanese men and women and other fantasies will make a very pleasing sight. Thursday forenoon bonbon shells will be discharged for the benefit of the children. Each shell will contain a quantity of confectionery which will fall to the ground after the explosion.
