Winter Isn’t Past Yet

Event date: Apr 17, 1874

It isn’t safe to speak of the “past” winter yet. Last Friday morning, at least eight inches of solid snow fell, and sleighs were again in requisition for some days. Sunday was about as severe a day on the hills as has been seen during the winter, and Monday morning last, April 13, the mercury sank nearly (in some localities near here quite) to zero.
