2020 US Census Day at the Brooks Memorial Library

The 2020 Census is upon us and hiring NOW! Come to the Brooks Memorial Library to meet a Census Recruiter and get more information about the jobs being offered. Beginning in 1790, and every 10 years since, we the people have participated in a process called the Decennial Census. We do this to know who we are and what we need for good roads, schools, hospitals and so much more. 

The United States Census Bureau is now accepting online applications for Enumerators (Census Takers) at www.2020census.gov/jobs . This is flexible, part-time, temporary employment from April to July 2020 paying $16.50 per hour, plus $.58 per mile driven. Applicants must be 18 years old by March 2020.
