The local Toastmasters club is moving to a new location beginning Feb. 14. The space is Room 245 at Vermont Technical College on the second floor. Enter from the Harmony Parking Lot (41 Harmony Place) or Main Street. After going upstairs, take a very sharp left to find Room 245.
Two speeches are scheduled, as well as two evaluations, extemporaneous speaking exercises and refreshments. Reports from an “ah counter”, a timer, and a grammarian are scheduled for the end of the meeting as well as a general evaluation of the entire meeting.
“Taking the Next Step” is the theme for this first meeting in the new space.
Emceeing the meeting will be Carolyn Handy of Putney. BrattleMasters members hail from the tri-state area. Guests are always welcome to visit, watch and listen at no charge, plus they are invited to participate in the extemporaneous speaking exercises.
