Qigong (“chee-gung”) is a movement tradition from China. The Chinese have been evolving these movement traditions for health and well-being for thousands of years; modern studies have demonstrated that a regular practice of qigong can have a positive effect on such wide-ranging conditions as bone density, cardiopulmonary and physical function, balance and flexibility, and psychological well-being.

Movements are slow, gentle and appropriate for people of all physical capabilities. The class is taught while standing, with a focus on relaxation and aligning movement with breath.

This qigong class is from the xingyi neigong tradition – internal training for the martial art xingyiquan.

$5 to $10 suggested donation.

Taught by Stefan Grace, LAc
Stefan has over 15 years of experience practicing and teaching the internal martial arts and qigong.
