In a time of the opioid crisis, it may be easy to think other “safer” drugs like alcohol or marijuana are acceptable among teens. Come discuss the work done to address the impact of the early use of substances on the adolescent brain.

Guest speaker Debby Haskins (former Executive Director of the Assoc. of Student Assistance Professionals of Vermont). Debby has been in the substance abuse field for 25 years. Her passion is working with adolescents and their families to break the cycle of addiction by presenting information in an experiential way.
