DiTrani Brothers Bobby and Walker, originally from North Bend, Washington, began writing songs together in 2013 while living in Seattle. In the summer of 2013, the brothers left Washington and began travelling the country, playing music on the streets of numerous cities and small towns, all the while honing the particular sound they wished to produce together. Landing in Vermont for a number of years, the brothers continued to write and refine their sound, and eventually made their way back to Washington.

Upon their return, the Washington-based singer/songwriter Dana Anastasia Hubanks began playing washtub bass and contributing vocal harmonies with the brothers in the winter of 2016, and toured with them from WA to VT, where the group met Eddie Gaudet in Putney, Vermont. Eddie’s percussion completed the group’s lineup, and soon after his inclusion, the band recorded their first self-titled album in Putney.

Since that time, DiTrani Brothers and the Hammer of Spring have toured in many parts of the country, and have played with bands they admire, including but not limited to St. Cinder, Hot Damn Scandal, The Resonant Rogues, The Hills and the Rivers, The Shaky Barbers, Lost Dog Street Band, and The Devil Makes Three.

The band is currently in the process of recording a new album scheduled to be released by fall of 2018.

Jagweed is a One-(hu)Man-Band! Playing a mix of originals and (mostly) early 20th century American folk, country, pop, and jazz standards through a very modern and somewhat experimental lens.
