Edible Brattleboro – Share the Harvest

August 1, 2021 11:00 am

The Edible Brattleboro “Share the Harvest” stand is now open every Sunday at the EB Garden at Turning Point on the corner of Frost and Elm Streets, 11:00 – 1:00.

Fresh veggies, herbs and more are available for F*R*E*E every Sunday thanks to the generosity of our local farmers and gardeners.

Home gardeners, if you would like to share your surplus harvest with your community consider dropping off your surplus at the stand on Sundays between 10:30-11:30am or Saturdays 2:45 -3:15pm. We now have a refrigerator on site to store your donations.

In order to keep the stand open, we need 4 volunteers every week to help gather and distribute fresh produce. New volunteers are always paired with an experienced person. If you can offer the gift of your time, please visit our website :https://ediblebrattleboro.org/

Here are two ways volunteers can help out:
Glean at the Farmers’ Market – Saturdays from 1:45-3pm. Collect produce from our donors at the market and deliver the crates of veggies to our refrigerator at Turning Point
Set Up and Operate the Share the Harvest stand – Sundays from 10:30am-1:15pm (split shifts possible – email Marilyn if you need this option)
