Fables Storytelling: Story Slam at Next Stage

Fables storytelling is a monthly event the second Wednesday of each month at the Next Stage Café in Putney.

On November 14th it will be the six-month anniversary of Fables and we’re celebrating with a cash prize Story Slam! Hosted & curated by Fish, who has a long and stellar career telling stories and entertaining Windham, Cheshire and Franklin Counties as a radio personality for more than two decades.

November’s theme: Tell your best story! We’re looking for 10 to 12 story tellers for this fast-paced night of stories. We welcome all story tellers to submit their pitch by filling out this form.  We’ll reach out to you by November 1st to let you know.

A few rules you’ll need to adhere to:

1. Your story can not be longer than 5 minutes
2. The story must be your own
3. You story must be told from the heart, it cannot be read.

All presenters will be competing for a winner takes all cash prize and the very first Fables Cup! There will be swag available for all who participate. There will be five judges deciding who tells the best story.
