The Game of Logging Chainsaw Safety classes Level 1 and 2 will be offered on consecutive days in Dummerston. Learn how to safely wield, use, and maintain your chainsaw as well as fell trees in a safe and supportive environment!
The class is facilitated by the Northeast Woodland Training organization. Courses must be taken in order. Level 1 focuses on Safety and Precision Felling Techniques while Level 2 focuses on Routine Maintenance and more Precision Felling Techniques. This is a pre-register class so you must reach out in advance in order to attend. All fees must be paid in advance. The cost for the course is $185 per day. This covers 16 hours of hands-on training. If you have already taken level 1 then you can sign up for just level 2 or if you can only make it to the first day that’s fine too!
