Groundworks Collaborative 7th Annual Camp for a Common Cause

Join us on Friday, May 17th for overnight campout on the Brattleboro Common – raising awareness about homelessness in our community, and funds to support Groundworks’ efforts to house our neighbors experiencing homelessness.

Unable to camp overnight? No Problem! Join us…

MUSIC & COMMUNITY BARBECUE starting at 6pm: $10 for adults & $5 for children under 12. Tickets can be purchased on-line or at the event.

VT SHAKEDOWN will perform on the bandstand playing funk and Afrobeat, with a tight rhythm section interacting with rippin’ horn solos, polyrhythms interwoven amongst vocals, and hypnotic bass and guitar lines dancin’ with funked up drums.

Members of the Sunrise Rotary will be cooking up burgers, dogs and veggie burgers!

Campers may begin setting up tents starting at 5pm Friday – Up and out by 10am Saturday after a light breakfast

All activities take place on the Brattleboro Common
(Park Place, Brattleboro, VT – at the intersection of Routes 5 & 30)

No alcohol and no fires please. Dogs are welcome, but must remain on a leash at all times.

Teams and individuals are asked to fundraise a suggested minimum of $100 per person to support Groundworks. PLEASE NOTE – all contributions are welcome, and it costs nothing to camp. We ask participants to try to raise some money on our behalf. All contributions are tax deductible.
