Introduction to Sand Casting at Borter’s Jewelry Studio

Cast jewelry in solid silver without all the time-consuming preparation and expensive equipment associated with common production methods such as lost-wax casting. Learn this primitive yet accessible technique to create your own pendant to wear home.
In this workshop we will lead you through the steps of choosing a suitable model to replicate, preparing a mold, pouring molten silver and finishing the cast object. All levels are welcome!
Cost for this one-day workshop is $200 and includes materials.
