Introduction to Sand Casting at Borter’s Jewelry Studio

Learn this primitive yet effective method to cast solid forms in silver and create your own piece of jewelry to wear home.
In this workshop hosted by Borter’s Jewelry Studio, Brattleboro jeweler Chris Lann will lead you through the steps of choosing a suitable model to replicate, preparing a mold, pouring molten silver and finishing the cast object. Prior jewelry making or metalworking experience is helpful for this intermediate-level class.
$200 includes all materials.
