Sherlock Holmes in “The Yellow Face”

The Baker Street Readers will continue their second season of dramatic readings with Arthur Conan Doyle’s The Adventure of the Yellow Face on February 20 at the Hooker-Dunham Theater in Brattleboro.

Grant Munro is in distress. He and his wife, Effie, have been as close as a couple can be. But all that changed days ago when a new tenant arrived at the cottage down the road, a mysterious figure with a ghastly, sickly look. Effie has some connection to the stranger, but refuses to confide in her loving partner. Munro begs Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson to travel to Norbury with him and find out the identity of The Yellow Face.

This month’s reading features James Gelter as Sherlock Holmes and Tony Grobe as Dr Watson, with guests Greg Lesch, Jessica Gelter, and Nell Curley.
