His  latest photographs of food were published in The Moosewood Restaurant Table cookbook in fall of 2017. All of Karevy’s commercial work is digital capture\, so not surprisingly\, much of his personal photo work is film and darkroom based including camera-less photography.  Karevy works with pinhole\, toy\, and antique cameras. He also makes handmade books and photo-polymer etchings. Karevy has exhibited in many regional exhibit spaces for many years. Al Karevy lives in Richmond NH.  His web site is www.karevy.com\r \n \r \n Karevy’s was  the first exhibit in April\, 1998 at the Vermont Center for Photography\, then called Flat Street Photography. Karevy’s exhibit opens exactly twenty years to the month from that first exhibit.\r \n \r \n The opening reception is Friday\, April 6\, from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m.\, during  Brattleboro Gallery Walk. The public is welcome. The exhibit will end on Sunday\, April 29. The Vermont Center for Photography\, a 501-3-(c) non-profit gallery featuring fine art photography\, was founded in 1998.\r \n \r \n The gallery represents photographers from Vermont\, New Hampshire\, Massachusetts\, and New York\, promoting a regional community of photographers. VCP is located at 49 Flat Street next to the parking garage in downtown Brattleboro\, Vermont. Gallery hours are Thursday\, Friday\, Saturday and Sunday\,noon to 5 p.m.\; or by appointment.
