SUMMARY:Vermont Granite Museum’s Annual Granite Festival
DESCRIPTION:Join the Granite Museum for a fun fall day out for all the family!  Enjoy both indoor and outdoor hands-on activities and games\, and see carving demonstrations by local granite carvers Chris Miller\, Heather Milne Ritchie\, and Ryan Mays.  Newly-digitized historic films focused on Vermont’s granite industry will premiere at the event\, and The VT Bluegrass Pioneers will perform on the indoor museum stage from 1 – 3pm.  Be sure to check out The Stone Trust’s dry stone walling workshop ongoing on the museum grounds. MexiRico Auténtico food truck will sell and serve Mexican and Puerto Rican cuisine on site throughout the day. This event is FREE thanks to event sponsors Community National Bank and Passumpsic Bank.
